Overview

Woman, strong, confident, black, headshotYWCA Northeastern Massachusetts [formerly YWCA North Shore Rape Crisis Center] is part of the YWCA of Greater Lawrence – a recognized nonprofit organization founded in 1892 – and is a member of both the National YWCA and the World YWCA, the oldest and largest multicultural organization in the world.

We share a common vision for peace, justice, freedom and dignity for everyone, and serve over 15,000 women, children and families in our community each year through more than 26 programs, services, workshops, classes and outreach events.

Each day, we strive to achieve:

At the Center, we focus on intervention and preventions education, services trainings and workshops for individuals and community groups regarding any type of sexual violence.
